Duncryne, known locally as the Dumpling, is a tiny hill of only 465 feet above sea level. However the very short ascent gives a reward out of all proportion to the effort, revealing a fantastic view of Loch Lomond, dotted with its many islands and backed by the great mountains of the Southern Highlands. A moderate walk. Its Braw and Bonnie Glen indeed, lots of waterfalls and forest. Park up on Low Broadlie Road, Neilston follow the foot path down the hill. Cross A736 onto Station Brae, follow to the bridge at the end. The Glen Path starts at the bridge.

Sorry, I'm from Airdrie at the other end of the rail line. Balloch is fast becoming a no go area with drugs, drunks and anti social behaviour. Always a police presence at the train station. I won't go near the place in the summer!!

@ScottsLand We spent a few days camping and exploring the Isle. Put a few photos on voss X. The weather was mixed, one of the days was raining all day. There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes. We enjoyed the rain day best. Walking on a beach in those conditions with your partner and dog ♥️♥️♥️

@@ScottsLand Haven't done the Arran coastal path. The ferry was smooth going, but the return journey was a different ball game, with a few 🤢🤮. We weren't affected. It's truly a wonderful place to visit. 🖖

I have always liked Burntisland it is a special place I can recall it from my childhood .In the summertime when the fair ground was there and even going down to the shoreline and looking over to Edinburgh was great ,even up to kirkcaldy up to the mercat shopping centre was good i love all of fife and it surrounding areas it is my best place to be.❤💯🏄♂🌳🌼🏵🏖🎡🎠⛵

Great wee video but the winner was the size of stick Voss had. The 2 of you had your walking poles and Voss couldn't be left out but he made sure it was the best stick around ahahah. I do have to ask though when we are gonna get a proper Summer. Burntisland is the best
I now live in Australia, 🇦🇺 but Saltcoats was our holiday destination for 2 weeks during every Glasgow Fair, when we went there on the wonderful steam trains! I've been in Oz since the '80s (I fled the Thatcherite dictatorship), but I still know every inch of Saltcoats. And every place on this video!
